Gunvor Nervold Antonsen · Craftwhack

Holy crap, do you feel the energy immediately in Gunvor Nervold Antonsen's work. It's large, it'due south loud, it's full of materials, it'due south assuming, it envelops y'all.

I wanted to characteristic this artist adjacent, right after Virginia Melnyk, to compare the 2 styles. Although her work is also big and creates an environment, the effect is totally different. Her pieces are much simpler and cleaner, while Gunvor's piece of work creates this erratic, heady infinite.

I love how there'southward a sense of child playfulness, but as well a lot of aggression mixed together here. I desire to be in 1 of these rooms full of his work while a whole bunch of loud music is blasting through speakers. I haven't decided still if it should be classical or old-style hardcore.

Visit his website to run into lots more work.
